"Sinan is the best teacher I have ever seen before. First of all, she is responsible in class, very patient in explaining the example problems on the tutorial time, and also combines the content of the topics with related knowledge points and makes notes for us to study, so that we have a better knowledge of the course content. Secondly, Sinan is very kind and gentle, she always smiles, and her tutorial style is humorous and interesting so that we can learn in a relaxed atmosphere and not feel bored while attracting our attention. I don't get lost or feel depressed in her classes like I do in other teachers' classes, which is very appealing to me. In addition, because my English is very poor, I am always afraid to answer questions or express my opinion in class, but Sinan is very patient in encouraging me to speak and allowing me to answer questions in class, which helps me a lot in speaking English and helps me to deepen my impression of the knowledge. Thirdly, Sinan always sends her very detailed notes to the students after the class, which is very useful if we review the content and helps us a lot when we study for the exams. Fourthly, I think Sinan is professional. Sometimes when I was confused about my study, I sent her an email at a very late hour to ask a question, and she always replied to me in a very timely manner, solving my long-standing problems. I was most impressed when I had a problem with my zoom system a few weeks ago, and I couldn't hear the voice during the class, so I was very anxious and sent an email to Sinan with feedback on the situation. I think she is really responsible for dealing with students' problems in her own personal time, and I am very grateful for the support and effort she gave us in teaching. This is the first time that I have ever given such a high rating to a teacher, but it is something I feel from my heart. All in all, I consider Sinan to be an excellent teacher and she deserves it."

"Sinan has been a great instructor for two of my courses. I would say it's definitely a student's luckiness to have her, usually more like a friend. During class time, she could always get where the students' confusions are from accurately and solve them on time. I still remember the first time she left me a deep impression. I was struggling with a mathematical problem from the lecture and clearly, she quickly realized which step I went wrong. What surprised me is that she did not only explain the process for that specific question but spent more time clarifying the principles behind each question even with some contents beyond the lecture. Her way of teaching inspired me so much because since then, I started to focus more on 'what principles or theories this question wants us to understand', instead of simply “what's the solving process of this question?'. Finally, both my grades and higher efficiency turned out that this way of studying I learned from Sinan has brought me such a huge and positive effect. Furthermore, I can strongly feel Sinan's enthusiasm and devotion to teaching students through her attentive actions in class. For instance, she always tried her best to encourage all the students to engage in her class, such as making some jokes, randomly calling out a student's name to answer questions and linking the question with some funny issues. As a student, those actions made me more concentrated on class and feel fun about it. In my memory, there's always a good atmosphere in our class. Also, I can't remember how many times her detailed and colourful notes have saved me from struggling with complex questions. The part I preferred the most would be her corresponding lecture notes written along with each tutorial question. This boosted my learning efficiency especially when I review for the exams. Her notes made me understand the lecture more thoroughly. See, she has taught me another useful learning method :) The reason I regarded Sinan as a friend most of the time is because of what she has taught us outside the class. For the weeks after our exams or assignments, she is used to sharing with us some videos that cheer us up. I have surely faced some grade results that upset me a lot, but Sinan's sincere words comforted me every time. I'm sure all the other students would be moved by her words like me. That comes from her genuineness through sharing her own bad or great learning experiences with us. We are all students and could stand in each other's shoes easily. As one of her students for almost a year, I feel like this is a process that not only we learnt from Sinan, but also Sinan learnt from us. I could obviously see her progress through our continuous communication and the way she kept improving her teaching style. To be honest, as a witness to her continuous improvement, I have been motivated to a large extent. She successfully sets us an example of earnest and strong mind."

She not only regards herself as a teacher but also as our friend when we have personal problems outside of study, she actively helps us to analyze the cause of the problem, to give us advice, under her advice, I have a clearer plan for my future personal study and development. When we were feeling down, she gave us encouragement and comfort. What impressed me was that after our mid-term exam, Sinan sent us an email to share some inspirational videos to encourage us not to give up when we were in trouble, this small act is effective in uplifting our emotions and motivating us."
