"Everything except me in the course is perfect. If I could rate for the course, I'll give 11 out of 10. The extra 1 is for Sinan, she's awesome."

"The way Sinan presented the course contents is very understandable, logical and well-structured. The materials are also very interesting, inspiring, practical and related to the stock market in reality. The difficulty of the lecture materials and assessments is quite reasonable, challenging students to learn but also giving us positive feedback. I feel this course is quite challenging with decent content, however, I've also developed a sense of achievement and satisfaction after comprehending the contents. The lecturer always has effective communication with students and provides us with useful advice. She is encouraging and patient. The way she explained the concepts and delivered the lectures was clear, logical and understandable. I can understand the lecture contents and solve most of my problems after listening to the lectures. The learning environment is very encouraging and I feel the connection between myself and others (both with my classmates and professor & tutors). I never worried about grades but quite enjoyed the process of learning this unit."

"The lecturer and the tutors are excellent. The content is really difficult in this unit but the lecturer and tutors help to explain things well and make difficult points easier to understand."

"The lectures were well designed and I still found them engaging despite mainly being an international relations student rather than an economics student. The teacher took some extra time to explain concepts we may have not been familiar with. All important concepts and ideas were accompanied by relevant dot points and visual aids for easy understanding. Classes were always on time, allowing the teacher to interact with students as needed as there were always opportunities to ask any questions related to the course material. She made herself very available to provide help with anything relevant and appropriate for the coursework."

"Professor Sinan Deng provided an outstanding learning experience in ECMT5001. Her teaching methods were highly effective, and she went above and beyond to support my learning journey. I unequivocally recommend Professor Sinan Deng for anyone eager to master the complexities of econometrics. She is not just an educator but a mentor who genuinely cares for her students' academic and personal growth. The subject of econometrics, often seen as challenging and abstract, became infinitely more engaging and relatable under Professor Deng's instruction. Her lectures were intellectually stimulating and piqued my interest in the subject matter. Professor Deng was very considerate of students' existing knowledge levels and adapted her lectures to make sure everyone could keep up, which was a thoughtful approach. Feedback was given in a timely and constructive manner. Her comments on my assignments and projects were insightful and helped me improve my academic performance. The lecturer had a gift for making complex econometric theories easily comprehensible. Her clarity and precision in explaining important concepts were remarkable. Whether through face-to-face conversations or technology-enabled platforms, Professor Deng facilitated meaningful student interactions, adding depth to the learning experience. The classroom was a welcoming space for all queries and discussions, thanks to her supportive teaching style. Lectures were seamlessly connected to tutorials, online resources, and practicals, creating a cohesive learning environment. Every lecture and activity was meticulously planned to align with the unit's learning objectives and upcoming assessments. Beyond imparting technical knowledge, Professor Deng also focused on the development of soft skills like critical thinking, digital literacy."

"I think the content of this course is brilliantly designed, it is the only course I have ever taken in Economics that was able to combine theory and practice, and I was able to learn the skills that I will need to actually learn for my future job through this course, which really helped me a lot. By the way, Sinan is a very friendly and responsible professor, her course is very interesting and engaging, this is the best professor I have ever met!"

"Professor Sinan gave us many opportunities to participate in the class and explained our questions in detail, so that we could have a better understanding of the lecture. It is no exaggeration to say that she is the best teacher I have ever met at the University of Sydney!"

"The best thing about this unit is that the coordinator emphasizes the practice of knowledge, which is different from traditional teaching. Especially in RPG, we go through the process from applying for a job to actually applying the knowledge we have learned. This is no longer just about studying for exams, but an understanding of real life. Because my major is economics and finance, and this course is a combination of the two, it allows me to better understand my major and learn how to apply it in real life. The biggest feeling is that this course has indeed brought me unexpected experiences. The coordinator's teaching philosophy is very relevant to real life. This is the happiest thing for me!"

"I think Sinan is a very good teacher. She actively adopts various methods to help everyone understand the finance in the economy from multiple aspects, abandoning the previous methods of small tests and integrating more practical aspects such as LinkedIn and MT5. Sinan herself is also very cute and brings me some positive attitudes towards life. I really like her! This course allowed me to revisit my studies in the final stage of my master's degree. As a student majoring in economics and finance, I really enjoy the practicality brought by this course, which will be very helpful for my future life and work!"

"Each assignment was very meaningful, the first one was to write a CV, which helped me in my job search afterwards. The latter assignment was to analyse currency pairs from fundamental and technical aspects, which helped me to understand some icons in my future work and know what angle to use when analysing. The teacher's atmosphere in the class is particularly good, and she often uses examples during the lecture to make me really understand the knowledge points."
